The Story

This was a weekend visit to Amsterdam in March 2010. Amsterdam surprised us! It was the first time I ever saw so many people on bikes and in such a laid back but organized manner. Bike paths that were as wide as lanes for the cars, plus separate stop lights for the bicycles too!

My photos highlight the vibrant colors of the tulips, plus the traditional Dutch wooden shoes, and of course the canals!
